R.I.P. To THE Greatest

Overwhelmed with tears, sorrow, and mixed emotions, all America tuned in this past Saturday to watch the four hour service of Whitney Houston's funeral. The funeral was held in Newark, N.J. at the New Hope Baptist Church where celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey, Tyler Perry, Alicia Keys, and many more were joined with friends and family members of the singer to mourn the loss of one of music's greatest influences. The Queen of R&B past away the Saturday previous to her funeral (February 11, 2012).
There has been several speculations relating to the singer's cause of the death. Many are stating that it was caused by prescription drug and alcohol abuse, while others are speculating that she drowned in her bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The singer's cause of death
is still under investigation; the results from her autopsy should take another several weeks to confirm the drug abuse speculations.
So, how is her family taking their loss?
Well, Bobbi Kristina Brown (the singer's daughter) had a few emotional breakdowns and had to be hospitalized twice within the two weeks post-dating her mother's loss. After the service, any watched the 18-year-old as she followed behind her mother's casket hysterically weeping, while the singer's friend, R&B singer Ray J, comforted her with love and support. Even the singer's mother, Crissy Houston, was baffled as she followed her daughter's escorted casket.
Family and friends are obviously devastated from the loss of the 48-year-old R&B diva, and so is America. Remembered for her great music with hits that inspired and impacted the world, and her film roles in movies such as 'The Bodyguard' and 'The Preacher's Wife', the Queen of R&B will be truly be missed, but remembered forever...'We Will Always Love You...'

RIP Whitney Houston, you will be missed. With you has gone one of R&B’s most strong and unique voices of all time.
I was really supiersrd when i heard she had passed away. I thought she was a very good singer however i do not really know lots of her songs. She has lots of fans and i’m and sure they will be very upset.Great article, Craig Hannah
Truly an amazing Diva that will be loved and missed regardless of things that may have happened in her life.
Nice way to sum up this past previous incident. Don’t take it the wrong way but Hopefully this will be a life lesson to many in getting the message out about using drugs. You are and will always be in control of the decisions you make, you should never have to adjust your feelings or decisions to please smbdy who is only making wrong choices. (drops the mic). She will be missed by many
I’m with Diamond. I love all of Whitney’s music, it’s hard to choose just one song. One of her songs at the top of my thgouh list is One of Those Days. Glad to see her back and I wish her nothing but the best. Kay~
Well said.. Whitney trully was a diva! Despite all the speculation regarding drug and alcohol abuse, Whitney was an amazing human being. Its a shame how so many people remember her solely as a drug and alcohol abuser and not by how shes had such a powerful impact on the world through her music and other various talents. She will trully be missed
So tired of people talking bout what about the troops this, what about the troops that, saying shit like, “she aint shit but a crack head why the troops don’t get that kind of love!”
First off everybody who says that makes the Military look like a group of ass clowns by making the military look like a bunch judgemental insensitive dunmb ass. Whitney Houston was loved by Military & Civilians. and
